More Time + More Truth = More Life Change
Fifty years ago, a typical church week looked fuller than ours: Sunday School, morning worship, evening worship, and a midweek service.
Somewhere along the way, life crowded in. Two working parents became the norm, the 9-to-5 rhythm dissolved, and schedules splintered in a hundred directions.
Churches wisely right-sized to meet families where they are. But if we're honest, something was lost in the adjustment, time in the Word together, and the slow, steady work of spiritual transformation.
That's the gap we're aiming to close with children Sunday School and Sunday Connect Groups. Not by piling on obligations, but by making the most of the time we already gather.
Here's the simple math we keep coming back to: more time + more truth = more life change. A growing, healthy Christian needs both. Worship stirs the heart; Sunday School and Connect Groups plant the roots.
- 9:00 AM — Worship Service, with Sunday School and Sunday Connect Groups
- 10:30 AM — Worship Service, with Kidz Church and Sunday Connect Groups
Worship at 9:00 and your kids can learn in a Sunday School class. While you dig into a Connect Group at 10:30, your kids will be in Kidz Church. OR worship at 10:30 while the whole family learns first at 9:00.
HINT 1: If you have teens, you should attend a Connect Group at 9:00 AM and then worship together as a family.
HINT 2: If you have elementary age children, either option will work for you.
Either way, nobody has to choose between being fed and being present.
Let's be clear about what this is not. Sunday School and Connect Groups aren't about accumulating theological trivia or cramming more biblical data into our brains. They're about community in the Word: the very picture of the early church, who "devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship" (Acts 2:42).
