Our City

Houston, Texas

Houston is the fourth most populous city in the nation, with an estimated population of 2.3 million and is expected to become the third most populous U.S. city by 2030.

Greater Houston is the most ethnically diverse metropolitan area in the United States. At least 145 languages are spoken by city residents, and 90 nations have consular representation in the city.

The Greater Houston area is larger than New Jersey and continues to expand. We will be planting in the No

Our Mission Field

Individuals identifying with Christ are on the decline. This trend reflects the reality of lostness and the rapid increase of Houston’s population. Also, this decline is due in part to the influx of international migration to Houston. Houston hosts over 220,000 residents from countries and people groups who have little to no access to the Gospel.

Gospel Hope will be a faithful light in the growing darkness through expositional preaching, relational evangelism, and community care.

Our Story

The Kehoe Family

Chris grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia while Dorothy was an adopted military kid who grew up a bit of everywhere (Japan, Texas, Idaho, & Arizona to name a few). The Lord called Chris & Dorothy at young ages to respond to His grace through the preaching of His Word.

Chris & Dorothy met while attending Bible College in Wisconsin. The Lord sent Chris & Dorothy to Houston to help revitalize Grace Life Baptist Church where they loved God’s people for 11 years. Chris served as a pastor for 6 of those years & Dorothy served in music & children’s ministries. Chris & Dorothy have been married for 12 years.

"Gospel Hope will be a faithful light in the growing darkness through expositional preaching, relational evangelism, and community care."
